Het einde van augustus is in zicht en daarmee het einde van een roerige periode. De afgelopen maanden is er ontzettend veel gebeurd; het Corona virus stak de kop op, ik werkte vanuit huis met 3 -soms ontzettend klierige en soms ontzettend engelachtige- kinderen om me heen (ja, ze leven nog ik zweer het op een leven lang geen rolo’s meer eten), ik schreef een afstudeerscriptie, verdedigde die met verve zodat er nu een prachtig Corona-diploma boven mijn bed hangt (BSc Accountancy) en ik at minstens 3 kilo m&m’s/chips/ijs teveel en kweekte daarmee een zwembandje waardoor ik geen enkele speelgoedwinkel meer in durfde (mevrouw, gaat u die zwemband nog afrekenen of was u van plan er zo mee de deur uit te lopen?)…..
Ondertussen kwam mijn boek uit, gaf ik een interview aan de Gelderlander (inclusief fotograaf dus die bolle Corona wangen zijn helaas vastgelegd voor het nageslacht), stond ik in het personeelsblad van CROP accountants en kwamen de eerste recensies binnen. Gelukkig positief (pfffffff).
En de afgelopen 6 weken hadden de kinderen vakantie. Ook voor mij een periode om tot rust te komen en weer wat beter in mijn vel te zitten. En wat blijkt? Ik heb helemaal geen zwemband nodig om te kunnen drijven, ik kan supergoed zwemmen! En het beste van Center Parcs is dus dat je je zwemband gewoon lekker kunt doorgeven aan de volgende; succes ermee…
Langzaam pak ik mijn pre-Corona leven weer wat op, dus je kunt de komende periode weer wat meer blogjes verwachten.
